How You Can Help

There are many ways you can help, some of which are outlined below. If you’d like to discuss these or any other options please feel free to contact us [Contact Us]

Donation.  colman education foundation (ABN 89150536208) has been approved as a Public Benefit Institution and as a Charitable Institution and is a Deductible Gift Recipient under the Income Tax Assessment act 1997. All donations are tax-deductible. See [Make a Donation].    A donation of:

  • $2,000 will allow a highly disadvantaged child to attend our early learning centre for a whole year. $10,000 would give this gift to 5 children
  • $32,000 would pay half the cost of another community liaison person
  • $50,000 – $150,000 would fund critical, sporting, music and other programs
  • $150,000 – $300,000 committed per annum for 10 years, would allow you to fund 50%/100% of another school!! Talk to us! See [Contact Us]

If you are inclined to start a similar project of your own, we’d love to share our expertise and knowledge with you. Please [Contact Us]. We know of no better way in which you can leverage your philanthropic dollar!

If you want to help in other ways. Doveton College is always looking for volunteers and people and organisations who have something to offer in the education of underprivileged kids. [Contact Us]

Another reason you way want to help?

If you attended a private college or religious school and wanted to express thanks and support for the education they gave you – you would typically give what you can when they call.

But if you had a State school education you have no way of giving back. Yet there are so many people in Australia, particularly migrants or refugees, who, because of the State education they received, have been able to make a new and good life in this country – and would love to give back.

colman foundation has been able to find a way of doing this. We created the first social partnership in Australia around a State school  – and did this in a desperately underprivileged area.Today we are educating more than 700 children and are now working with the Victorian Government to start a second and then possibly a third school.

There are some 6000 early childhood learning centres in Australia and only around 4 have been given an “excellent” rating. Doveton College achieved this in its first 30 months. So we’re making a difference.

It’s all about team – and there is a massive role for a philanthropic partner in the team around a local school and community. We’d love to talk to you if you are interested [Contact Us].
